Mid-Season Break

So, it's a few days after Christmas and Im bored. There wasn't any hockey practice last week, so I decided to start a blog.

I needed a place to keep all my ideas, hockey pictures, crafty stuff I do and general funny family stuff. Everyone else on the planet has a blog, why shouldn't I?
Wanna know a little about me? As the name implies, Im a goalie mom. I have a mite goalie and a pee-wee goalie that is currently playing on a bantam team. Yes, I'm a nervous wreck, but I love it.
We live about 45 minutes away from the rink... which is lots of fun considering we have practice 3-4 times a week and games on Saturdays. =)
I like to do crafty things when I'm not being the family taxi. I knit and crochet hats and stuff. It keeps me busy... when Im not being busy.
Im excited to get my blog started for family and friends to read. 

2011? already? Where's my flying car?

Its new years eve at the casa del goalies and no one really seems to care. I don't ever remember NYE as something exciting when I was a kid. We never stayed up or had parties. I guess that's why I don't think it's a big deal now.
We do have plans for tonight, we're going to the Grizzlies game tonight. That  should be tons of fun. Most of our team goes, so there are lots of friends to visit with. We may need to go to Cracker Barrel too. =)
